The rumors are true -- 1kvf is back. Long story short, life took us all on our individual journeys, and we're as surprised as anyone that our paths converged once again. We've been popping up in lofts and galleries recently, and we're thrilled to be a part of Silver Wrapper's New Year's show. Keep an eye open and an ear tuned for plenty of activity in 2009 and check back early and often for 1kvf updates.

1kvf biography

1000 Vertical Feet: Jam > DJ > Rock+. This has been the musical progression for the Chicago-based 4-piece since 2001. 1kvf has stripped away dozens of stomp boxes, electronic drums, and a few keyboard set-ups to reveal what matters most, the song. These days, 1kvf travels lighter and hits harder. The line-up includes former Stabbing Westward/Verbow/XMarsX/Spies Who Surf drummer Dave Suycott; a reunited Brian Kallies on bass, man-about-town Jason Slade on keys, and original cast member Wilson on guitar.
